Whit’s happening and resource directory Issue 8!


We are delighted to share the latest Whit's Happening with loads of new resources and contacts including a really valuable Toolkit by Epione Training and Consultancy on managing anxiety during COVID19. Pages 29-45.

We are grateful to them for sharing this resource for free showing the kindness and collaborative working across so many partners to try and help us all get through what are unprecedented times. An update by GrowChapel on some of their recent exciting developments on page 49.

A survey by Self Injury support which has been running UK-wide emotional support services around self-harm for over 30 years and they've always wanted to run a complementary information/navigation service alongside.

The great news is that they now have funding to pilot this service and they really want to collect as many views as possible to make sure it does something useful and is easy to access.

Now more than ever it's important we maintain and build connections as none of us alone have all the answers and the challenges individuals, families and communities are facing is significant.. 

This wee magazine is only a small attempt at helping build those connections and share information which is something people often say they value.
