Health and social care integration
COPE Scotland were delighted to work with the ALLIANCE on ensuring people’s voices and lived experience was shared at The Scottish Government leadership event with people who are working on health and social care integration.
The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Shona Robison MSP, will be introducing the film...which you can see here.
As a community led initiative COPE Scotland are keen to work with statutory partners on the new health and social care integration to see how together we can work with people to make a real difference. We are delighted to have been invited to take part in the West region Living well in localities event and are currently exploring funding to host a community connections event with health and social care partners and the community in the West.
The aim would be to improve connections and help build relationships that enable culture change, developing a shared vision between people who use health and social care services and service providers.
Exploring not only what care and support people are looking for from services, but also to begin to consider what support is needed to enable people better self-manage any challenges they are facing.
Our hope being to have a 90 day challenge, to hone in on 3 measures that would really make a difference locally, the areas for attention would be decided at the event.
