This has been a long pandemic and we are not out of the woods yet, though there does appear hope on the horizon. However, uncertainty, financial concerns, health concerns that existed before the pandemic haven't all went away, in fact they may have become more intense. We are all different, our experiences of this pandemic will be different, however, if we think about each other and build our networks, use those networks and treat each other with respect and kindness then collectively we can help mitigate the impact of all that is happening. This wee magazine won't have all the answers, but the time spent producing it each month, is one wee attempt at helping us know more about what is out there and know we are not alone.None of us alone can do it all, working together we can build a future for the children and young people that they deserve.

Take care of yourselves as you do matter and let's dream and make plans for building a better future for everyone, even if sometimes it feels two steps forward one step back…………………..

"Don't Quit"

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low but the debts are high,

And you want to smile but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is strange with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many failures turn about

When we might have won had we stuck it out.

Don't give up though the pace seems slow –

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out –

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

You can never tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit –

It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
